DMC 102 to Cosmo: Thread Conversion

Cosmo 2647 is a close match to the midrange of DMC 102 and offers Cosmo's softer, slightly silkier hand. As a solid thread, it captures the royal blue character well but cannot replicate the visual rhythm of the variegation. The match is reliable for smaller areas; in large fills where DMC 102 was chosen specifically for its shifting color, even the best solid substitute will look noticeably different. Check the color against your other palette threads before committing.
