DMC 102 to Anchor: Thread Conversion

Anchor 131 is a close match in the royal blue range, though it's a solid thread — you'll lose the built-in color movement that makes DMC 102 special. For patterns that use this thread as a background fill or for decorative interest, the solid substitute will read as flat by comparison. If the variegation effect is important to your design, look within Anchor's multicolor range for a blue variegated rather than substituting the solid. For small motifs or outline work where the shifting color wouldn't show, Anchor 131 works fine.
