DMC 165 to Cosmo: Thread Conversion

Cosmo 971 is a close match in the very light yellow-green range with Cosmo's slightly softer hand. The Cosmo version tends to reduce the most extreme yellow-green intensity by a single degree, which depending on the design context could be preferable to the full DMC brightness. In tropical and wildlife designs where you want maximum energy, stick to the DMC or Anchor options. For spring foliage and subtle botanical accent work where a fractionally softer version is appropriate, Cosmo 971 is worth trying.
