DMC 165 to Anchor: Thread Conversion

Anchor 278 is a close match for DMC 165, covering the very light yellow-green territory. Some dye lots of Anchor 278 lean slightly more toward green and slightly less toward yellow than the DMC original, which at this extreme end of the spectrum can produce a perceptible shift — our eyes are particularly sensitive to yellow-green distinctions. For a single project, the difference is usually invisible in context. If you're batch-purchasing for a large piece or SAL, compare your Anchor 278 against a DMC 165 reference skein before starting.
