Cosmo 800 is a close match that performs well in most applications. The main variation is a slight shift toward more purely yellow-green and away from the olive-brown warmth of the DMC original. In botanical herb and avocado designs where the khaki quality is specifically important, this shift is worth noting — the Cosmo version may read slightly brighter and less earthy. In general decorative contexts where dark warm green is the requirement, Cosmo 800 is entirely adequate.
