Anchor 187 is a close match for DMC 3851 Light Bright Green. Anchor's brighter greens in the teal zone tend to be reliable in saturation, and 187 is a workable substitute that covers well and stitches cleanly. Like most Anchor teal-greens, it may lean slightly more blue compared to 3851's more balanced green-cyan position — the DMC original sits at that vivid mid-point between teal and bright emerald, while the Anchor version edges a touch toward the blue side of that midpoint. For standalone Anchor tropical, Art Deco geometric, and contemporary botanical projects, it performs well and the slight hue shift is unlikely to affect the design outcome.
