DMC 3022 to Cosmo: Thread Conversion

Cosmo 165 is a reasonable substitute in the medium brown-grey range. Cosmo threads sometimes appear a shade lighter when stitched than they look on the card — a known characteristic of several Cosmo medium-value neutrals. At this particular value, that lightness shift could push the thread from true mid-tone to slightly light mid-tone, affecting its coverage density in shadow areas. Testing in your specific fabric and stitch count is worthwhile before using Cosmo 165 in a prominent outlining or shadow role.
