DMC 155 to Cosmo: Thread Conversion

Cosmo 147 is a close match with Cosmo's softer hand and slightly less twist producing a flatter stitch surface. For geometric and sampler work where you want even, uniform blue-violet coverage without pronounced texture, the Cosmo version's smoother lay is a practical advantage. Check that the violet character is present alongside the blue — a version that tips too far toward pure blue loses the amethyst quality that makes DMC 155 interesting.
