DMC 115 to Sullivans: Thread Conversion

Sullivans 45114 provides a close match in the warm red-to-rose variegated range. As with other Sullivans variegated threads, shorter segment lengths can mean more frequent color transitions per stitch area — which for rose petal work adds nicely to the organic variation, but for large fills may look slightly more speckled than the smooth drifting gradient of DMC 115. If you need the garnet-to-rose movement to flow across a larger area, try the Danish stitching method and cut slightly longer thread lengths to allow the gradient more room to develop.
