Anchor 1206 is a close match in the variegated garnet-to-rose range, capturing the warm, wine-leaning character of DMC 115. Anchor's variegated threads tend to have somewhat shorter transition cycles, which means the color shifts from dark garnet to lighter rose may occur more frequently per inch of stitching. In rose petal and redwork designs this added frequency can read as naturally varied; in large fills, it may create a more active, busier pattern. A test swatch on scrap fabric will help you judge whether the rhythm works for your project.
