DMC 90 to Madeira: Thread Conversion

Madeira 0710 is a close match for DMC 90 Variegated Pale Orchid. As with all variegated thread substitutions, the close rating signals that the color family is comparable — soft orchid and lavender tones — but the proprietary dye sequence and repeat intervals are Madeira's own and will produce a different visual pattern than DMC 90 in stitched work. For wisteria and lavender field designs where a pale purple variegated thread is needed and DMC 90 isn't available, Madeira 0710 covers the right chromatic territory.
