Cosmo 168 is a close match in this very pale gray range. At this near-white value, the distinctions between pale grays become more noticeable in finished work — a substitute that reads fractionally cooler (more silver) or warmer (more beige) than DMC 3072 can shift the design's light temperature. Cosmo 168 is workable for most applications, but for precision work like detailed portraiture or whitework designs where multiple near-white values interact, testing it alongside your other light threads under your specific working light is worthwhile.
