For forget-me-not borders, spring samplers, and memorial pieces where this blue is used in small, scattered motifs, Sullivans 45202 performs reliably well as a solid substitute. The natural petal-to-petal variation of the variegated original is absent, but for designs where the motifs appear at small scale or in limited quantities, this trade-off is usually acceptable.
