DMC 827 to Cosmo: Thread Conversion

Cosmo 151 is a close match for DMC 827, with the main difference being Cosmo's silkier thread surface, which can give their very light blue a slightly more luminous or cool appearance compared to DMC's matte finish. For atmospheric haze and distant sky work, this extra luminosity can actually enhance the effect of aerial perspective — pale things in the distance often read as slightly more lustrous due to light scattering. For snow shadow work where a matte, soft pale blue is more appropriate, test the Cosmo version against your fabric first.
