DMC 480 to Sullivans: Thread Conversion

Sullivans 45318 is a practical economy substitute for Very Dark Grass Green, particularly for large landscape background fills where cost-per-skein is a genuine consideration. At normal viewing distance in a finished piece, the Sullivans version performs adequately for grass shadow and deep foliage applications. The color may be slightly less precisely calibrated than the DMC original, but in dark shadow areas this variation is generally absorbed by the surrounding palette.
