DMC 3841 to Madeira: Thread Conversion

Madeira 1001 is a close match for DMC 3841 that reads as reliable and well-behaved in most pale baby blue applications. The Madeira version may read as very slightly more distinctly blue — fractionally less gray-cool than 3841's particular pale clarity — meaning it holds its color identity a little more firmly against white fabric and doesn't quite dissolve into the ground the way 3841 can. This can be an advantage in designs where the pale blue must remain visible as a distinct color rather than serving as a near-fabric tone. Madeira's thread consistency is good at this value range. For sky gradients, birth samplers, and nursery design blue fills, Madeira 1001 is a dependable working substitute that most stitchers would accept without hesitation.
