DMC 3032 to Madeira: Thread Conversion

Madeira 2002 covers the mocha brown territory, though Madeira's slightly smoother thread finish can make the color appear a touch less dusty and a touch more polished than DMC 3032. For reproduction samplers where the faded, time-worn quality is essential to the design's character, this subtle finish difference might matter — the aged quality of DMC 3032 is partly visual (the color) and partly physical (the matte finish). For most other applications, Madeira 2002 is a serviceable substitute that matches the essential color character.
