Cosmo's characteristic softer hand and flatter stitch texture suit the structural body-color role that 160 plays — large fills of stone walls, overcast skies, and mid-tone water surfaces benefit from the even coverage and muted surface that Cosmo threads produce. Verify that the grey component is intact in the Cosmo version; a substitute that runs cleaner and bluer will lose the Wedgwood quality and read as conventional medium blue.
