Sullivans 45224 provides a close match in the mustard-to-amber variegated range. Shorter color segments in Sullivans variegated threads can create a slightly more speckled effect rather than the smooth drifting gradient of the DMC original. For candle flames, bee bodies, and small amber-toned motifs, this additional frequency of color change is a non-issue. For larger fields of wheat or sunflower backgrounds, the Danish method can help organize the transitions and create a more coherent, less scattered appearance.
