Anchor 1218 is a close match in the warm golden-amber range of DMC 111. Anchor's variegated threads tend to produce slightly more defined color banding than DMC's smoother transitions — which for geometric patterns and striped designs can actually be a feature, though for organic subjects like sunflowers and autumn leaves, the more abrupt shifts may look less natural. Try the cross-country stitching method to distribute the color changes more randomly and reduce the banding effect.
