DMC 973 to Cosmo: Thread Conversion

Cosmo 563 is close-rated for DMC 973. Highly saturated colors are the most difficult to match across brands because dye chemistry and thread fiber interact differently. Cosmo's interpretation of this vivid yellow may appear slightly less electric in intensity than the DMC original. Test on your target fabric before using in large quantities — at normal viewing distance the difference may be acceptable, but in small accent use where the color's maximum brightness is the point, any muting would be noticeable.
