DMC 3845 to Madeira: Thread Conversion

Madeira 1103 is a close match for DMC 3845 Medium Bright Turquoise. Madeira handles bright cyan tones reasonably well, and 1103 is among the more accurate substitutes in this color family. The saturation is comparable to the DMC version, and Madeira's slightly silkier thread texture adds a pleasant luminosity to large turquoise fills — the finished surface of a Madeira-stitched turquoise panel can have a particularly attractive sheen at this saturation level. Dye lot consistency is reliable, which is a practical advantage for tropical and ocean designs that may require multiple skeins. Madeira maintains adequate separation from 1102 (the 3844 equivalent), making the gradient viable if sourcing the full family from Madeira.
