Cosmo 117 is a close match for DMC 3833 that can read fractionally warmer — shifting the raspberry tone slightly toward strawberry-pink. In standalone spring floral and Easter designs this warmer interpretation is entirely pleasant. The key caution is when using Cosmo 117 alongside DMC versions of the full raspberry trio: the slight warmth shift may be visible where the threads meet, so keeping all three raspberry family colors from the same brand is preferable for gradient-dependent work.
