DMC 372 to Anchor: Thread Conversion

Anchor 853 is a close match for DMC 372 Light Mustard. Anchor's interpretation tends to be slightly cleaner — less olive, more straightforward yellow-gold — which makes it well-suited for beach and sand applications but slightly less convincing for autumn leaf work where the olive undertone of the DMC version adds botanical accuracy. The two threads look very similar under artificial light; natural daylight reveals the subtle olive difference most clearly.
