DMC 29 to Cosmo: Thread Conversion

Cosmo 288 is a close alternative for this deep eggplant purple. The differences between Cosmo 288 and DMC 29 are most apparent when threads are compared side-by-side under consistent lighting — the slight variations in the red-blue balance at this depth of color are genuinely hard to detect once threads are stitched into a design. For applications where DMC 29 serves primarily as an outlining or shadow color in a purple-dominant palette, Cosmo 288 is a serviceable stand-in. Avoid mixing it with DMC 29 within the same project to prevent visible color inconsistency.
