DMC 159 to Sullivans: Thread Conversion

Sullivans 45474 is a close match in the very light grey-blue range. At this pale value, consistent thread coverage is more important than at darker values — any fabric showing through dilutes the already faint grey-blue color further. Check tension and stitch density on a test area before filling large winter-sky or ice-surface backgrounds. If the Sullivans version reads slightly more pure blue than grey-blue, it may work better in straightforward sky applications than in winter-cold atmospheric contexts.
