DMC 157 to Madeira: Thread Conversion

Madeira 0912 is a close match in the very light cornflower blue range. The Madeira sheen gives this soft color an almost aqueous luminosity — particularly suitable for water reflections, sky areas, and any design element that benefits from a sense of light passing through rather than reflecting off a surface. The violet undertone that defines DMC 157's character should be present in the Madeira version; if it reads as purely cool blue without the warmth, the thread's palette-bridging utility will be reduced.
