DMC 154 to Sullivans: Thread Conversion

Sullivans 45469 is a close match in the ultra-dark grape range. At very dark values, pigment density differences between brands become most apparent — a thread with insufficient dye concentration will look thin or slightly dusty against a light fabric, undermining the rich, deep quality that 154 needs to deliver. Test coverage on your project fabric with two strands before filling large areas. Also run a colorfastness check: deep grape dyes can bleed in warm water, and the consequences are worse the more of the color you've stitched.
