DMC 3731 to Anchor: Thread Conversion

Anchor 76 is a close match for DMC 3731 Very Dark Dusty Rose. Anchor's version reads slightly less dusty and slightly more straightforwardly pink than the grayed DMC original — the muted quality that makes Very Dark Dusty Rose useful for outline work over soft palettes is partially present but less pronounced. For general decorative use, the Anchor equivalent performs adequately; for pieces where the dusty character is specifically why you chose 3731, the Madeira exact match is the preferable substitution.
